DAY-TO-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 CASABLANCA
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and guide, with fast-track service available. Time permitting, enjoy an optional city tour of Casablanca, including the Jewish Museum—the only one of its kind in the Arab world—Temple Beth-El, and the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship set against the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 2 CASABLANCA - RABAT - VOLUBILIS & MEKNES – FEZ
En route to Fez, stop in Rabat to visit the Chellah and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, with a glimpse of the historic Mellah. Continue to Meknes, Morocco’s “Versailles,” where Jewish heritage remains visible through its Mellahs, synagogues, and cemetery. Along the way, explore the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, celebrated for their well-preserved mosaics. Arrive in Fez by evening.
Day 3 FEZ
After breakfast, explore Fez with your local guide, in one of Morocco’s most historic and spiritual cities, founded in the 9th century. Discover the ancient medina, visit the historic Fez Mellah—the country’s first Jewish quarter—and the nearby Jewish cemetery, reflecting the city’s rich Jewish heritage. Continue to the iconic leather tanneries, renowned for their vibrant colours, and conclude the tour at the Merenid Tombs for a panoramic view over the city.
Day 4 FEZ - MARRAKESH
Private transfer to the airport for your flight to Marrakech. After check-in at your riad and a brief rest, explore the legendary Djemaa el-Fna Square, alive with food stalls, musicians, storytellers, and performers. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech by night, followed by dinner in the square.
Day 5 MARRAKESH
After breakfast, explore Marrakech, Morocco’s imperial “Red City,” set against the backdrop of the High Atlas Mountains. Discover the historic Jewish Mellah, including the Lazama Synagogue, the Jewish Cemetery Museum, and Beth-El Synagogue in Gueliz. Visit the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, admire the Koutoubia Mosque, and wander through the 9th-century walled medina.
Day 6 MARRAKESH
Explore modern Marrakech, including the chic neighbourhoods of Gueliz and Hivernage. Visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and the iconic Jardin Majorelle, before continuing to the Palmeraie Museum to admire contemporary Moroccan art by more than 50 artists.
Day 7 ESSAOUIRA
(day trip): In In the morning, travel to Essaouira, a historic coastal town and former Jewish trading hub. Explore the Old Town and Mellah, once home to numerous synagogues and a thriving Jewish community, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Essaouira is also famed for surfing and kiteboarding. Return to Marrakech in the evening.
Day 8 MARRAKESH - OUIRGANE VALLEY
(overnigh)t: Domaine de la Roseraie
After breakfast, head into the High Atlas Mountains to explore a tranquil valley dotted with traditional villages. Visit Ouirgane, home to a historic Jewish Zaouia, which includes the tombs of Rabbi Haim Ben Diwan and his disciples, along with artefacts dating back to the 1700s. Return to Domaine de la Roseraie for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 OUIRGANE VALLEY
After breakfast, enjoy a gentle hike in the High Atlas Mountains, exploring charming villages, olive groves, and fruit orchards. Sample fresh local produce, learn about traditional Berber carpet weaving, and stop for lunch in a local Berber home. In the afternoon, relax at the Domaine de la Roseraie, surrounded by crisp mountain air and the tranquil rhythm of village life.
Day 10 DEPARTURE
Private transfer to the airport of Marrakesh (optionally Casablanca).
