In the afternoon, arrive in the charming town of Chefchaouen. Check in, relax, and take a leisurely walk around the central square. Day 4, Oct 27th FEZ
Spend the day exploring Fes el-Bali, the historic old town and one
of the world’s largest living medieval medinas. With your local
guide, walk through a maze of narrow alleys lined with ancient
mosques, madrasas, and traditional houses. Visit highlights such as
the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al-Qarawiyyin University (exterior),
and the famous Chouara tanneries, where leather is still dyed using
centuries-old techniques.
Continue through the artisan quarters, discovering workshops of
metalworkers, potters, and carpenters, before pausing in lively
souks filled with spices, textiles, and local crafts. The tour offers a
deep immersion into the history, culture, and daily life of

Day 5 , Oct 28th FES
On this second day in Fes, continue discovering what was missed
the day before, diving deeper into the city’s rich cultural and
spiritual heritage. Visit additional madrasas and historic fondouks,
explore quieter residential quarters of Fes el-Bali, and gain further
insight into daily life behind the medina walls.
The tour may include artisan cooperatives specializing in zellige
tilework, wood carving, and metalwork, as well as panoramic
viewpoints overlooking the medina for memorable photos. Time is
also reserved to revisit favorite spots, explore hidden corners, or
enjoy a relaxed tea break in a traditional palace, completing a

Day 6, Oct 29th, FEZ - MERZOUGA
Depart Fez around 9am for a scenic drive southeast through the Moroccan countryside. Although the journey takes about six hours, several interesting stops make the day especially rewarding. The first stop is Ifrane, a tidy, alpine-style town built by the French in the 1930s, often described as “Little Switzerland” for its red-roofed houses, parks, and clean mountain air.
Continue to Midelt for lunch, a peaceful town set between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, offering beautiful views across the surrounding landscapes. Later, stop in Erfoud, known for its fossil heritage and traditional wood-fired madfouna (Berber calzone), before continuing toward Merzouga and the edge of the Sahara.

Day 7 Oct 30th, MERZOUGA
After breakfast, around 10:00 a.m., depart by 4×4 to explore the iconic Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the desert and a visit with nomad families for traditional mint tea, returning to the riad around 3:00 p.m.
Before sunset, ride a camel across the dunes to your desert camp. In the evening, enjoy traditional music by the campfire, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in a nomad-style tent beneath the stars of the Sahara.

being chosen by Richard Bronson when he was flying his helicopter
