DAY-TO-DAY ITINERARY

Day 1 Welcome to Portugal
Upon arrival in Lisbon, transfer to your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax or explore. In the evening, savour an authentic Portuguese dinner at a local restaurant, featuring classics such as bacalhau, grilled sardines, and pastel de nata.
Day 2 Discovering Lisbon
Enjoy a private morning walking food tour with a local guide, beginning with coffee and a pastel de nata. Explore Lisbon’s Baixa and Alfama districts, sampling traditional petiscos such as bifana and gourmet Portuguese tinned fish. The afternoon and evening are at leisure to explore Lisbon at your own pace.
Day 3 Sintra and Cascais
(day trip) Enjoy a day trip from Lisbon to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting the iconic Pena Palace and the enchanting Quinta da Regaleira. In the afternoon, continue to the coastal town of Cascais, renowned for its beaches and charming atmosphere.
Day 4 On a way to Porto
Travel to Porto by flight or train (approximately three hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure, with our recommendations and support available for exploring the city.
Day 5 Porto
Riverside Cafés and a Cruise along the Douro Explore Porto’s Ribeira district with its colourful riverside houses, admire the Dom Luís I Bridge, and visit a Port wine cellar for a tasting. Conclude the day with a relaxing cruise along the Douro River, enjoying panoramic views of the city.
Day 6 Porto: bookstores and rooftops
On your second day in Porto, visit the enchanting Livraria Lello, climb the Clérigos Tower for panoramic views of the city, and admire the stunning azulejo tiles at São Bento Railway Station.
Day 7 On a way to Morocco
We will assist you with the logistics for your flight to Morocco. Upon exiting the airport, your English-speaking tour leader will greet you in the Ochre City of Marrakech. Enjoy a free evening to relax at your beautiful riad. If you wish, we can recommend and/or arrange a restaurant for dinner and take care of all the logistics.
Day 8 Medina of Marrakesh
From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, explore Marrakech on a city tour, visiting palaces, museums, and the vibrant souks. In the afternoon, enjoy a food tour, sampling local delicacies and experiencing the city’s rich culinary traditions.
Day 9 High Atlas where Berbers live
(day trip) After breakfast, embark on a day trip to the High Atlas Mountains, exploring traditional villages, olive groves, and fruit orchards. Learn about local crafts, enjoy wild thyme tea, and share a Berber-style lunch. Return to Marrakech and conclude the day with a traditional dinner in a local family home.
Day 10 The Pearl of the Atlantic, Essaouira
Travel to Essaouira, one of Morocco’s most beautiful coastal towns, renowned for inspiring musicians such as Jimi Hendrix and serving as a filming location for Othello, Game of Thrones, and more. Spend the evening exploring and enjoying the charm of this historic city.
Day 11 Marrakesh of Yves Saint Laurent
Return to Marrakech and explore the trendy neighbourhoods of Gueliz and Hivernage. Visit the Majorelle Gardens and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, then enjoy an afternoon street food tour, sampling Marrakech’s diverse and flavoursome culinary offerings.
Day 12 Desert retreat
Enjoy a leisurely morning before travelling to the Agafay Desert, a striking stony landscape just outside Marrakech. Take a camel ride at sunset, savouring the golden-hour views, then relax in the tranquil desert and enjoy dinner under the stars.
Day 13 Departure
Private transfer to the airport.
