Welcome to Portugal. Upon arrival in Lisbon, you will check in at a carefully selected boutique hotel at 12:00 PM. The hotel will be high-end, comfortable, and centrally located, with the final choice confirmed according to your preferences. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing time to relax after your journey, enjoy nearby cafés or viewpoints, and acclimatise before the adventure begins.

This morning, meet your private local guide in the hotel lobby for a 3–3.5 hour Lisbon walking food tour. Enjoy a traditional Portuguese pequeno-almoço with coffee and a freshly baked pastel de nata, followed by a guided walk through Baixa and Alfama, discovering the city’s history, culinary traditions, and Fado culture. Tastings include classic Portuguese petiscos and local beverages. The afternoon and evening are at leisure for independent exploration.

Enjoy a private transfer from your hotel to the train station before boarding the high-speed AP 182 train at 10:09 AM for your journey from Lisbon to Porto (approximately 2 hours 45 minutes). Relax during the comfortable ride to Portugal’s second-largest city and the birthplace of Port wine. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your boutique hotel, followed by free time to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Today, enjoy a hands-on Pastel de Nata baking workshop in a professional kitchen, where you will learn to prepare authentic Portuguese custard tarts from scratch, including puff pastry techniques and custard preparation. Each participant will actively shape and bake at least three tarts, with the experience concluding by enjoying the warm pastries together. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

At 3:00 PM, meet your expert guide in the hotel lobby for a four-hour cultural tour of Porto’s UNESCO-listed historic centre. Explore highlights such as Praça da Batalha, Rua Santa Catarina, the Majestic Café, São Francisco Church, and the Stock Exchange Palace, combining panoramic drives with guided walks to discover the city’s architectural, commercial, and cultural history.

After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to the train station for your return journey from Porto to Lisbon on the AP high-speed service. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your boutique hotel for check-in after midday, with the remainder of the day at leisure.

A full day at leisure to enjoy Lisbon at your own pace. This day has been intentionally left open to provide a balanced rhythm, though optional experiences can be arranged upon request.

At 10:00 AM, meet your private driver and expert guide for a four-hour cultural tour of Lisbon. Explore the iconic Belém Tower and the magnificent Jerónimos Monastery, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and gain a deep understanding of the city’s history, evolution, and unique character through a mix of panoramic drives and guided walks.

Enjoy a leisurely day in Lisbon, culminating in a private sunset sailing on the River Tejo. In the late afternoon, board your sailboat and glide past the 25th of April Bridge, Cristo Rei, and Belém while savouring Portuguese sparkling wine and watching the sun set over the Atlantic—an elegant and tranquil conclusion to your time in the city.

Travel south to Faro and check in to your accommodation in Faro or a nearby coastal town. In the evening, explore Faro’s historic Old Town, including Faro Cathedral and the Arco da Vila.

Drive to Albufeira, one of the Algarve’s most popular seaside towns. Spend the day unwinding on beaches such as Praia dos Pescadores or Praia da Oura. In the evening, explore Albufeira’s charming Old Town, enjoying its lively atmosphere.

Travel to Lagos, stopping at the dramatic cliffs and sea caves of Ponta da Piedade. Optional boat tours provide the opportunity to explore the grottoes and striking rock formations. Enjoy time on beaches such as Praia Dona Ana, before exploring Lagos’ historic centre, including the Slave Market Museum and Forte da Ponta da Bandeira.

Head inland to Silves, renowned for its impressive Moorish castle. Continue to Monchique, nestled in the Serra de Monchique mountains, where you can enjoy panoramic views and savour the local cuisine.

Visit Tavira, a picturesque town with Roman influences and a charming riverside setting. Explore Tavira Castle, the Roman Bridge, and take a leisurely stroll through the Jardim Público. Enjoy a relaxed meal at a local restaurant.
